“New Year With a Positive Mind” 7-Day Residential Meditation Course Announced in Bengaluru

In a spiritually uplifting initiative to welcome the New Year with mindfulness and inner clarity, the Mahabodhi Dhammaduta Meditation Centre, Bengaluru, has announced a 7-day residential meditation course titled “New Year With a Positive Mind”, scheduled from December 26, 2025, to January 1, 2026.
The course aims to help participants cultivate a fresh mind, renewed energy, and a wholesome beginning for the New Year through meditation, mindfulness practices, and inspiring Dhamma reflections. Organisers stated that the programme is designed to assist individuals in letting go of past mental burdens, developing clarity, and embracing the New Year with wisdom, positivity, and inner peace.
The meditation course will be conducted by Venerable Bhikkhu Buddhapala Thero, a senior monk of the Mahabodhi Society, Bengaluru, and currently the Director of Mahabodhi Hyderabad. Venerable Bhante is a devoted disciple of Most Venerable Acharya Buddharakkhita, the founder of the Mahabodhi Society and its sister organisations.
With more than 20 years of experience in Dhamma study and meditation practice, Ven. Bhikkhu Buddhapala Thero has guided numerous meditation retreats across the country and has inspired many practitioners to walk the Noble Path with confidence, discipline, and joy.
The course will be conducted in English and will take place at Mahabodhi Dhammaduta Vihara, located at Narasipura Village, Matthahalli, Alur Lake Road, Bengaluru North, Karnataka. Participation in the course is free of cost, though voluntary donations may be offered at the conclusion of the programme.
